Are you worried about the Coronavirus, COVID-9?  Let me know your thoughts on that.  I went into WalMart to buy some hand sanitizer for our church, and there was none to be had. We have an elderly congregation, so I thought that I might take some basic precautionary measures.  Guess we will just stick to hand washing and clorox wipes.

Recently adopted barn cat, “Maddie”.  She is not so keen on having her photo taken.  She is expecting babies, maybe in a few weeks.  Trying to keep her inside and well fed.  Will keep you updated on the baby watch.  I told my DH that we are going to have to build a new extension to the house – All of these rescue animals in a small home takes a lot of love, and a lot of work.

  2. I’m not worried as such, and am trying to carry on a normal life although, it is maddening, with all those people stock piling, such a selfish way to be. I do not understand the madness about toilet rolls. I wish people would not panic and use their logic in these matters. Also consider others, the elderly that cannot get out as often and need to be able to have some supplies to live on. I do feel that when these events in life happen, and they do periodically, it does seem to bring out the worst in some of the human race. All I can do is pray that this madness comes to an end very soon for every ones sake.
Thank you as always for your kindness in sharing your designs. And I look forward to hearing about Maddie’s progress as a mum to be.

  3. Thank you for your beautiful work.
Bless you for looking after the rescues and what a fantastic reason to build an extension! Hope that Maddie is continuing to do well.

COVID-19 – well hopefully the predominant closure of the world will help to flatten that bell curve giving all our medical systems time to deal with those in need. I have made sure we have enough for us and our two cats to get through 4 weeks, I don’t have space to hoard grocery items (my hoarding relates to reading, sewing and craft). Our supermarkets have removed their return policies for ‘if you don’t want it’ suggesting people donate to someone in need instead. The panic buy is crazy. We grocery shop every fortnight and there is still an abundance of fresh food – why do you need all those cans and frozen foods (unless of course its half price ice-cream). Here’s hoping that people learn to do a kindness for those unable to get what they need and relax a bit – not everything is imported.

  4. Aww Maddie is so pretty. She is so lucky to have found you.

I’m not too worried about COVID-19. But am keeping my distance, and only doing normal shopping. I stocked up on fruit snacks and goldfish only because my daughter will eat a whole box in a day if I don’t have my eyes on her at all times lol. But still just 2 or 3 boxes of each. We’re going to my mom’s for a few days and the tiny grocery store on the island doesn’t stock much of that kind of thing if any.
We’re doing lots of outdoors stuff, and crafty stuff as usual, although very disappointed we can’t do the water park as planned. There will be more opportunities for that though, so no worries there.

Stay safe and stay well. Keep scrapping! Thank you so much for your beautiful kit, Sunny. I love these colours.

  5. Sunny, Thank you for our creations. The watercolor papers are my favorite each release, I’m still trying to create my own but have not yet been successful. I look forward to your release each month and to follow along with the latest additions to your family. Knowing that you live on a farm, I’m sure you and your community are comfortable with DYI, below are several ways that you can replace the hand sanatizers that store have run out of. All the best, Dani

  6. Thank you so much for the beautiful papers etc.

Re the Corona Virus, I am fortunate to live in Western Australia and we are quite isolated from the rest of the world. Australia has also put measures into place to hopefully be able to handle any problems that may arise. For the most apart from taking the normal precautions like keeping clean and avoiding contact wherever possible I am not concerned. Whilst I do not know the future I know Who holds the future and this gives me peace.

Love the pic of Maddie. She looks so much like my Tally.

    Maddie is so beautiful
And as for the Coronavirus I belive we should avoid contact with others.
I live in Pa. our town is free of it but a few have it across the river from us.
    I always keep stocked.
Do not have to go out much thank you lord.
Praying for everyone to be safe.
Stay home do not go out unless needed.
Not much more we can do . Just needs to run its course.
    Bless you all

  8. Thank you so much! Beautiful, as always! I am not too concerned about the corona virus at the moment. Here in the Tri-Cities, though, we have had runs on toilet paper, hand sanitizer, wipes, the whole bit. Now our governor wants to shut down ALL restaurants (except for take-out and delivery). It’s getting ridiculous, IMO. We are all in pretty good health (except for my ongoing stomach issue), but my mother-in-law is 85 and so she’s the one we are most concerned about. Keeping her safe is the priority. Maddie the barn cat is BEAUTIFUL! Is she considered a calico? My mother-in-law had a calico cat years ago, and we loved her coloring, too. Anyway, thanks again!

  9. Thank you so much for the kit. Always enjoy your blog. Not too concerned about the virus. Made my own hand sanitizer following World Health Organization recipe. 2 parts rubbing alcohol – 70@ or above and one part aloe vera – 99% Also added lavender essential oil and apple cinnamon fragrance. Maybe these ingredients will be easier to find than the premade sanitizer. It also smell really good,

  10. Hello
Thank you for all your free gifts. You are very generous and I do try and payback by doing a good deed everyday. Sometimes it’s difficult to find something to do so if I am out and about driving I slow down and let people out of busy junctions. It doesn’t sound like much but I live in a very busy area and know the frustration of waiting and hoping to join the main road and always very grateful when someone lets me out.
I would have loads of animals if I could. Maddie is a beauty and cannot wait to see her kittens.
    Corona virus.
I live in the Uk and the corona virus is escalating but at the moment not as bad as our winter flu season. I do feel the world has gone mad. Why the rush for toilet paper is beyond me. If I was to stockpile it would not be on the top of my must get list.
I am 70 and classed as being in the vulnerable group even though I don’t feel like I am. We are facing a 4 month period of self isolation so my crafting is the thing which will be keeping me sane and looking forward to using all your beautiful kits in my creation. So once again thank you for your generosity.

  11. I love all of your art work. Your generosity is amazing. Same here in Pensacola, FL, hand sanitizer is nowhere to be found as well as many more items. My husband and I do have concerns and we just want to be on the safe side since we are in our mid 60’s and have health issues. We are staying home as much as possible. We know and believe God is in control, so we have peace in the midst of this situation. I love reading your blog and your new furbaby is beautiful. Kittens to come? Oh, if they could stay kittens. They are so precious! Thank you for sharing your freebies!

  13. I can’t wait to see what adventures occur once the kittens are born. It’s such a miracle to witness their birth. Funny story: When I was pregnant, I was afraid of my water breaking while sleeping, so I put the cribs waterproof layer under my sheets. Well, a week before I gave birth instead of my water breaking, my cat’s did. LOL It’s the middle of the night and I hear my husband yelling, “Diana, get up! Your cat’s having babies.” Over the next couple of hours, I watched in awe as she gave birth to three kittens. Thank you for sharing your talent!

  14. Thank you, Sunny, for the lovely kit. Thank you also for sharing glimpses of your life with us. You have no idea how much you encourage me and inspire me to look beyond myself. Thank you so much!

Regarding COVID-19, our governor just issued an Executive Order telling us to stay home except for essential trips out. We were already doing this except for those in our family who went to work. We live way out in the country, so we are always well stocked. Praying that you and yours are well and safe. Truly our times are in His hands… this gives so much peace to me!

I have a rescue in house, spoiled calico cat. Her name is Piggy (because she used to gobble down her food and then look at me to ask for more). I have 6 more calico’s who are outside cats. Love those cats 🙂
