Merry Christmas!
Christmas is again upon us and people around the world are busy with their preparations. Christmas is a time for family reunions, for family bonding, renewing friendships, exchanging gifts and attending holiday activities. Christians around the world celebrate Christmas in different ways, following their beliefs and their traditions. Christmas is a time to celebrate. Foremost is the celebration of the birth of Jesus. It is meant to bring a message of peace and hope.

Even if you don’t celebrate Christmas, please remember to do something kind and unexpected for someone this December.  The world continues to expand it’s need of such people, ones that are kind, thoughtful, loving and generous of spirit. Lets change that,  let’s be the example to the next generation. Plant those seeds of love in your community.  They will eventually grow into an orchard, reflecting God’s love.

Update on Joe
He is doing well.  Our dogs have adapted and adopted him.  He has a vet appointment on Dec 3rd for his last shots for the year.  Here is a photo of Joe-Joe sleeping with the pit bull, Abigail.  That’s Douglas at the other end of the sofa.  Joe-Joe sleeps with Douglas every night.  He shares his love.

Update on my daughter’s move to Oregon
Things are going really well for the family.  My granddaughter is 6 years old, and has special needs. It appears that she has come to the right place!  She has been receiving better attention (medical, educational) than at her previous location.  It has been a great relief to my daughter to have the professionals in her corner when it comes to the “princess”.  We all want princess to thrive and have the best opportunity for a somewhat normal future.  Princess has so many medical issues.  When she was in utero, she only had one vein sustaining her – therefore, she not only had brain development issues, she had physical development issues too.  She is quite the medical marvel, and we love her so.  My daughter is so awesome with her!  God gave her to the right family!

  3. Thank you Sunny. Another great giveaway. I love the elements in this one.

Joe looks very contented and it’s real cute the way he cuddles up with the dogs.

  4. I appreciate your beautiful items more than words can say…thank you. Have been struggling to get ink for my printer at our local source so I started a back up plan for my card ministry…purchased a Misti stamping platform to use stamps when needed. More time consuming but at least I can keep the cards flowing to up lift the recipient which needs our prayers. God Bless You and Merry Christmas!

  5. Cats are my favorite but I love all animals (snakes maybe not so much!) I am a retired Special Education Teacher and I can tell you that getting that extra help and precise learning strategies, along with kind, concerned mentors, is the very best way to ensure your granddaughter’s success. AND you often have to fight to get it these days!

  6. Thanks for the lovely updates on Joe and rest of family and especially the beautiful kit. Merry Christmas to you and yours! hugs, Mat

  7. Thank you so much for the updates! Love little Joe-Joe — he reminds me so much of our son’s cat, Angus, who we sadly only had for about 4-1/2 years. His memory lives on, though, and we think he taught Hermes (our newest cat) some tricks! I’m so glad your daughter and granddaughter are doing well, too. It’s so great when our little ones can get the love and care they need!
