It was such a beautiful morning – I awakened at 6:00 am, with the birds beginning to chatter in the tree outside my window. The moon was so remarkable! I love it when it has a butter-yellow cast to it. It was hanging just above the blue mountains, silent, majestic. And then, it had to surrender its place of honor. It was time to let the sun take its turn in the sky.
The palette for this month’s Blog Train is quite unique in its cool tones. It was a challenge for me to create with it, but I added a few accent colors that gave things a pop of color. Here is the palette:
Please be sure to visit the other designers in the blog train. They did fantastic with the palette, and made some GORGEOUS designs for you. The blog train list can be found at the bottom of this post.

Thanks so much for your contributions — lovely as always! I have had to get up MUCH earlier than my body likes with this new job (well, I’m almost 3 months in, so maybe not-as-new anymore?). I took a picture of our sunrise the other day, which was gorgeous! https://bit.ly/2upweKz — hope that works! I couldn’t past in the picture for whatever reason. It was the second day in a row for absolutely beautifuil sunrises here in the Tri-Cities. We’ve had much warmer weather, and nearly all the snow piles are gone. A few stragglers, but not too many. Spring is springing!

The pic is from the parking lot where I work, by the way. A little bit north of Richland, looking across the river to the east.

I LOVED THE SUNRISE PHOTO! Yes, I was shouting that. It is lovely. So glad that you are rewarded like that, for having to get up too early for work. Yikes! And I am glad that you are having the warmer weather, finally. Isn’t it nice? We had bits of snow and rain here today, but it can’t hide spring!

Yes, we had some rain yesterday & last night, but today is pretty nice. Cloudy, but still pleasant. Another reward for getting up that early was that I saw a coyote running down the road the other day! I’ve seen coyotes in the wild before but it has been a really long time since I’ve seen one that close!
